The county tax roll reflects the following information for the Cureton
Cemetery: NW, NW, Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 31 West, Parcel
#8073. There may be two Cureton Cemeteries, or perhaps one of these
is not properly located. G. H. "Chig" Cureton donated an acre of land to be used as a cemetery. The two graves listed above are the only ones here as of 8/8/1983. The graves do not have names or dates. They are the graves of Mr. and Mrs. Don Cureton's infant children. This information was furnished by Mrs. G. H. Cureton, the mother of Don and the grandmother of the infants, who are buried here. |
