Mather
Lodge
Whether for a week-long or weekend vacation or a business conference,
the Petit Jean State Park Mather Lodge complex provides a variety of
facilities such as a swimming pool, gift shop and full service restaurant
(in park catering available.) Pets are not permitted in cabins or lodge
rooms; however, service animals are welcome. For general inquiries about

Mather Lodge, a massive stone and log building, highlights Petit Jean
State Park. The CCC began construction of this structure in the 1930's,
but today it is fully equipped and modernized. Overlooking the beautiful
Arkansas River Valley, Mather Lodge offers 24 guestrooms (6 doubles and 18
singles). Small groups can meet at the Lodge in the Arkansas Room for a
small fee.
Lodge rooms have beautiful pine walls and ceilings. Guests at
the Lodge are quickly enchanted with our perfect mix of rustic
surroundings and modern conveniences.
- Some rooms have 1 full size bed and sleep 2 people and others have 2
full size beds and sleep 4 people.
- All rooms have TV's with satellite connection, clock radio, coffee
pots, ironing boards, irons, no telephones.
- Two rooms are handicap accessible.
Meetings, Reunions, & Retreats
Petit Jean is perfect for small meetings, corporate retreats, and
training workshops. The park specializes in groups of 20 to 40 guests and
can customize the space and services to meet your needs. The park's
overnight accommodations include 24-room Mather Lodge and the 32 cabins
situated near the lodge.
Meeting rooms:
- Arkansas Room: This room near the guestrooms can accommodate
20 to 25 people. The room's setting is a cozy study with couches and
chairs.
- Civilian Conservation Corps Dining Room: Located adjacent to
the lodge lobby, this captivating room features walls of native logs and
native stone, and tables and chairs, all hand-crafted by the men who
served at Petit Jean's CCC camp in the early 1930s. A wood-burning
fireplace makes this room especially cozy during fall and winter months.
The CCC room can accommodate 30 to 35 people and is ideal for meetings,
meals, & receptions.
- Restaurant Conference Room: Located adjacent to Mather
Lodge's dining room, this room is created by the partitioning off of the
back area of the public dining room. It provides a breathtaking view of
Cedar Falls Canyon and can seat 40 people at dining tables. A larger
portion of the restaurant conference room, capable of seating 80 people,
is available at certain times during the off season.

Cabins
Twenty-One fully equipped housekeeping cabins, 9 rustic and 5 duplex
(10 units) and 1 honeymoon cabin with hot tub, all with fireplaces, are
scattered in the woods near Mather Lodge. Cabins include all electric
kitchens with cooking utensils and tableware. Linens are provided and all
cabins are heated and air conditioned for year round comfort.
Six overnight duplex cabins, 12 units all with fireplaces, are located
near the lodge, without kitchens.

Duplex
Housekeeping Cabins are one building with two
rentable sides similar to a duplex apartment.
Modern wood frame structures with an adjoining door in the center wall
between the two sides.
Door must be opened by both parties to pass from one side to the other.
Great for families who want separate sleeping facilities but would like to
get together for meals or gatherings.

Rustic
Housekeeping Cabins are stand alone cabins.
These fully modern units are great for those who want to be by themselves
and
enjoy the coziness of the rustic interior.

Fly-In Camp
Ground
Did you know Arkansas's only state park with its own airport features a
fly-in campground? Aviation enthusiasts will enjoy the fly-in campsites at
Petit Jean State Park atop Petit Jean Mountain near Morrilton. The
campground offers five campsites (for tents only) with water and
electricity, picnic tables, grills, lantern holders and tent pads. One
campsite is barrier-free to accommodate persons with disabilities. The
cost per campsite is $18 per day. The campground also features a modern
bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets. Petit Jean's airport
features a mile-long runway. The fly-in campground, located at the south
end of the runway near the park's Lake Bailey, offers parking space for
five planes. Additional parking space is available at the north end of the
runway adjacent to the hangers. Fuel is available at the park airport that
is operated by Morrilton Aviation. The airport is open for daytime use
only. All FBO flight services are available. To reserve a Fly-in campsite
